Junior Photographer
Job Description:
A Junior Photographer will have their time divided between photo event
photography and photo gallery shift work, with the majority of a Junior
Photographer’s time being spent in the Photo Gallery selling retail products
and images of customers. Work is 7 days a week and hours may be spread
over a long day, mostly spent on your feet. A strong desire to offer
outstanding customer service and the ability to proactively sell is highly
important. The cruise ship environment is five-star and a Junior
Photographer must conduct themselves in the appropriate manner for the
surroundings at all times. A Junior Photographer must be able to work well
in a fast paced, dynamic team environment with the expectation of
achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and training within the photography field are not essential but
are highly desirable. You should possess a strong portfolio of photographic
work with evidence of a good level of photographic proficiency. High
proficiency levels in customer service and being able to work well as part of
a team, demonstrating a strong sales aptitude and customer empathy are
all essential. A Junior Photographer must be fluent in English.
